These shelves are handmade by skilled craftspeople in the North West of the UK using sturdy, high grade FSC certified plywood.
This collection of ply furniture is exclusive to Room356. Ply is less likely to warp than solid wood as well as being much more affordable.
The wall mounted shelves come in a choice of four lengths. They look equally as good as a single shelf or grouped together at various levels.
The wood has been finished with a durable lacquered soft sheen. The end result is a smooth, tough, durable finish.
As well as being sustainable, durable and affordable our plywood furniture is also quickly becoming the first choice to complement contemporary interiors due to its natural pale light grained finish.
Made up of numerous bonded strips of wood the edges of the shelves have been left exposed to make an attractive feature of the ply layers.
The sleek, strong metal powder coated rust resistant suspense brackets in matte white are the ideal choice in adding to the simple clean lines of this collection.
The easy to screw in brackets will arrive separately. All that is needed is a standard size cross head screwdriver to screw the brackets into the wall.
Each bracket supports up to 20 kg in weight which makes the shelves strong enough to support books and heavy ornaments.
NB: screws not provided as which screws are used will depend on the type of wall the shelf is being fitted to.
