Here at Room 356 we aim to give you the best possible delivery service. We use various delivery partners in order to meet your needs. Our items are complimentary gift wrapped upon request at checkout. Every item you receive from us is wrapped in bespoke 356 packaging to make your purchase extra special.

Express delivery next day £10.00 (on selected items Monday – Friday only)
Order before 1pm and receive the next day. Please note this is an additional cost on orders £40.00 and over for mainland U.K. For Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, Scilly Isles, Isle of Man and Channels Islands, Express delivery is a 2-day service. International tracked shipping – please allow 3-14 days
We offer international shipping and can calculate the delivery price at checkout. Prices differ depending on the size and weight of your parcel and vary greatly from country to country. We aim for the best price and most efficient service possible. Please note that some international orders incur extra costs at customs that you will be liable to pay. We advise that you check with your local customs office for further details.
If you are resident of Norway and request your delivery to be sent here you will need to provide us with a VAT number if the delivery address is a business address or the customer’s ID number if the delivery address is a residential address. We require this information in order to send your parcel. Please note a standard International delivery cost is given at checkout but we may need to add additional shipping costs after your order has been made.
Important Delivery information
Room 356 orders are sent Monday to Saturday except for bank holidays and public holidays. Delivery prices vary depending on the size, weight and delivery address of your order.
Once your order has been dispatched we will send you a confirmation of dispatch email including courier and tracking details. The couriers will leave a calling card with their contact details if no-one is home to sign for the delivery. If you do not respond to the calling card the goods will be returned to our warehouse and a fee charged for redelivery.
Our couriers deliver items to your front door at ground level. It is at their discretion, taking into account health and safety concerns, how much further assistance they provide in moving the items into your property.
Before ordering please take note of the product dimensions to ensure they will fit through any tight spaces including staircases and doors and are suitable in size for the space they are intended.
Bespoke and personalised items- Made to order items will require an extended delivery service of up to 14 days for mainland U.K (longer for international and outside mainland U.K). This information will be highlighted on each product description.
We offer a collection service from our store in Bolton, Greater Manchester or Permanent stall at Altrincham Market. If you would like this service please choose the collection option at the checkout. We will then notify you via email when the item is ready for collection, we aim for the same or next day unless the item is made to order. Please note we can only hold your item for up to 14 days due to limited space.
Our aim is for all our customers to be completely happy with their purchases at Room 356 but if you wish to return your item please follow the steps below. Returns must be made within 14 days of delivery.
- Contact us firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know you wish to return the item. State the reason for your return in your email along with your order number.
- Send your item to 356 Chorley Old Road, Bolton, BL1 6AG. We recommend using Parcel2go for the best tracked delivery service.
- Ensure you check the item and that it is sent in its original packaging.
- Ensure the item is packaged safely as we are unable to refund damaged items.
Returns Terms and Conditions
– Please read carefully
• Returns after 14 days and up to 30 days of delivery will be issued with a credit note.
• As the customer you are responsible for full payment of delivery costs upon return.
• If the item is too large to return we will arrange a collection service upon notification, you can contact us via phone or email email@example.com. The cost of collection will be deducted from the cost of refund or credit note.
• The item must arrive in a fully re saleable condition. If the item arrives faulty we will not be able to refund or credit note the item.
• We cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transit and we recommend you get a Certificate of Posting in case we do not receive the goods.
• We cannot offer a refund or credit note for personalised or bespoke items unless they are faulty upon delivery.
• We cannot refund the initial delivery cost only the cost of the item.
• We will issue the refund or credit note once the item has been received within 5 working days.

Damaged or Faulty Items
Firstly we would like to apologise for your faulty or damaged item. Please follow the steps below;
1. Damaged or faulty items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
2. Please contact us via email email@example.com and include pictures of the faulty item.
3. We will then discuss details of sending out a replacement item or refund.
4. Please ensure you do not return the faulty item until you have contacted us. We will be unable to reimburse your postage costs without full notification.
If, for any reason, the goods arrive in damaged packaging please do not sign the delivery note that states you have received the goods in a satisfactory condition and do not take delivery off them.
Term + Conditions
We take pride and time in sourcing Room 356 products ensuring that they are made with care and attention.
Our product photography and descriptions portray our items accurately, some items may vary. Unfortunately some devices can alter the colour and overall look of the product that we cannot take responsibility for.
We aim to give approximate measurements of each product but these may differ slightly.
If an item is out of stock it will be highlighted on the product description page.
Placing an order with Room 356
Before you place an order with us please make sure you read through the descriptions carefully including all our Terms and Conditions. By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you have any queries regarding any of our terms please feel free to contact us via email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone.
Once you have placed an order we will send you a confirmation email that your order has been received but this is not a confirmation that your offer to purchase the goods has been accepted. A contract between you (the customer) and Room 356 for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and dispatched to you.
Please be aware that all our products incur a delivery charge unless specified. All delivery dates are estimates and may be subject to change.
Please note we cannot fulfil an order if you (the customer) do not provide the correct details upon checkout or are unable to process payment. This also applies if there is an error with the product price or description or if an item is out of stock. You must specify the correct delivery address and stipulate the company name or unit/flat number if your share a building with others.
We will take all precautions and security measures to keep the details of your order and payment protected but, in the absence of negligence on our part, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party obtains unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from Room 356 Website.
Payment and pricing
Payment can be made by Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, Maestro, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Paypal. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. Your credit/debit card or paypal account will be authorised and charged once your order is placed and processed, this occurs before your items are dispatched to you. This does not affect your statutory rights
All prices are exclusive of VAT and are in pounds sterling. We may change prices at any time.
Cancelling your order with Room 356
You have the right to cancel your order by emailing email@example.com within seven days of receipt. You will then need to follow our Returns Policy if the product has already been dispatched.
Room 356 Sales, promotions and Gift vouchers
Sale items are not included in any promotional offers or codes.
You can return sales items within 7 days of purchase and must follow the returns policy for this.
Unfortunately we cannot offer free delivery promotions to those located outside mainland U.K. This is due to us being a small business but we aim to work towards this in the future.
Only one promotional offer can be used at one time.
Gift vouchers are valid one year from issue date and are not included in promotional or discounted offers at time of purchase.

Room 356 Policies
Room 356 takes your privacy seriously and treats all the personal information we receive about you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and any other applicable information which relates to the personal information you supply us with on the site.
We collect information about you including your name, address, telephone number, email address, credit/debit card details in order to process your order and give you the best possible service. The site uses a security system that protects your details from unauthorised use.
We do not disclose any information about you to any third parties without your consent or unless required to do so by law.
Along with the information you provide us with information may also be collected from time to time through cookies. Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser on the hard drive of your computer. They allow us to recognise repeat users, track patterns of behaviour and compile data to improve the site for you.
When are you available to speak on the phone?
We can be contacted between the hours of 9am and 6pm from Monday to Sunday to answer any of your queries. Alternatively you can email us firstname.lastname@example.org at any time and we will make sure we get back to you as soon as possible.
How long does it take from placing an order to receiving the goods?
We aim to dispatch orders of items that are in stock and sent to mainland UK within 2-5 working days of an order being placed. Larger items will be sent by 24 hour courier. Some smaller items will be sent by ‘second class’ post. Alternatively you can select our express delivery at checkout. If you would prefer another service including Saturday delivery please contact us for a quote via email@example.com or telephone.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes we offer this service. Some items are not suitable for worldwide shipping as they are fragile but this will be highlighted on the product page. For more information please go to our Delivery and Returns section.
Is Gift wrap included on all Room 356 items and how do I request this service?
Yes this is a complimentary service and can be requested as an option at the checkout. Please note that some items cannot be fully gift wrapped due to their size and shape but we include Room 356 stickers, labels and ‘with compliments cards’ to make your order extra special and personalised.
Can I choose the date I would like to take delivery of my order?
Yes for mainland UK. All you need to do is include this information along with your order. We can deliver on any weekday of your choosing, excluding Bank holidays. If you would like a Saturday delivery please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will provide you with a quote for this service.
What do I do if the delivery address is different to the billing address?
When completing your order on the checkout page, enter your billing address. You can then choose if you want to deliver to the same address or add an additional shipping address.
What happens if I am not at home when the delivery is made?
You will receive an email once your order has been dispatched informing you of the Couriers details and the Tracking no. If you are not home when the couriers attempt delivery they will leave a calling card with their contact details so you can reschedule the delivery. If you do not contact the couriers they will return the item to us and a cost will be incurred in resending the goods.
My order hasn’t arrived even though I have been informed it has been dispatched. What should I do?

What is your policy on returning an order?

Can I order an item which is out of stock?
Yes, if an item is out of stock it can be still be ordered online or over the phone. If you would like more information on when an item will be back in stock please email us email@example.com with the product details.
How to modify, cancel order or have provided the wrong details
Providing that your order hasn’t already been dispatched we will try our best to help you. Please notify by email firstname.lastname@example.org , telephone or via our website contact form as soon as possible.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept: Paypal, Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, JCB, Solo and American Express. All transactions are in pounds sterling (£). If your credit card is in any other currency, the rate of exchange will be that of your card issuer and you may be charged an international fee by them. Payment online is in a secure environment.

How do I use my promotional code?
Simply enter the code on the checkout page when asked for a ‘Discount Code’. Please note only one promotional code may be used at any one time.
How much does delivery cost?
It depends on the size and weight of your item and where you would like your item delivered to. Please see our Delivery and Returns section for more details. For Mainland UK delivery starts at £1.90, £10.00 for outside of mainland UK and international shipping varies depending on country, size, weight and volume of your order.
