This White Designer Pendant Light Small is handmade in the UK. The stunning ceiling shades have been created by Clar, a London based design company led by product designer Barbara Etter.
The Ni Ni unique pendant is made from a product which has a natural parchment texture.
The white shade is perfect for living room, bedroom or hallway lighting. Hang it pointing up or down depending on the height of your ceiling and the look you would like to create.
If hung high and pointing down the diamond pattern will be showcased. If hung low, pointing it up gives Ni-Ni a flower bud appearance.
Barbara Etter has experience in product and interior design which stretches over a decade. After studying in Switzerland she moved to London and worked as designer on national and international projects.
Describing her creative process she says "My design journey starts in play - working directly with the material and with little planning. It is a conversation with the material's properties: with fragility and stiffness, softness and tension, with texture and translucency - nudging at boundaries and finding compromise. The final character of an object is born of this thoughtful investigation and led by regard to function, intuitiveness, familiarity and the environment".
Product Information:
The lampshade comes fully assembled and is ready to be hung. The optional Mounting Kit includes 2m white twisted fabric cord and a canopy. Knowledge of installation is required. Please note that work on electrical systems may only be done by a specialist.
Bulb Type: E27 bulb, max 60 Watt. Recommended is a low energy 8/9 Watt LED bulb.
