Two sisters, Becca and Jess, have successfully created this original brand of colourful and practical metal Mustard Made lockers inspired by classic retro American school style lockers.
The sisters have brought different and complementary skill sets to their business. Becca is described as the 'creative and organised one' who 'makes us look good.' Jess, on the other hand, is described as the sister who 'makes things happen'. Not only that but the sisters carry out their business whilst living at opposite ends of the world. Becca resides in Australia and Jess in London.
The lockers combine form and function perfectly. They come in a choice of shapes and sizes to cater for all room spaces and storage needs. We stock a selection of four of the most popular styles which are The Shorty, The Skinny, The Lowdown and The Midi.
The Shorty is offered in a choice of a left or right hand opening, making it a perfect bedside or desk cabinet. It's compact dimensions also allow it to be a perfect fit for areas where floor space is limited.
The Skinny Locker is tall and slender and was the first locker the sisters introduced to their brand. Don't be deceived by it's narrow compact design features, it is capable of providing a great deal of storage space. It looks great as a stand alone piece or when grouped in a row of two or more. The Skinny makes an ideal home office cabinet.
The Lowdown was initially designed to fit in an alcove in Jess's apartment. It is exactly 100cm in width and only 40cm depth. It makes the perfect TV cabinet or media console. It has two holes in the back to keep cables neatly hidden away. TV boxes can be concealed in the unit whilst the remote control will still be operational.
The Midi offers a very practical storage solution, it makes a great toy cupboard or hallway cabinet for shoes, boots and umbrellas. The Midi is not too big and not too small hence its name.
Mustard Made Lockers come in a choice of beautiful on trend colour shades with a powder coated soft matte wipe down finish. You are sure to be able to find a colour of locker as well as size and shape to suit your individual specifications.
At the present time we offer the lockers in a choice of six of the most popular colours which are slate, blush, olive, navy, sage and white.
The playful Blush Coloured Locker is a delightful pastel pink shade with slight grey undertones. This colour is very popular in both children's and adults bedrooms.
The Navy Locker falls somewhere between a navy and royal blue hue making it not too dark and not too light. It would make a perfect mood making statement piece in a contemporary or traditional styled lounge or bedroom.
Although we try not to have any favourites we are extremely drawn to the earthy pale pastel green colour that is the Sage Locker. Introduce into any room to add a feeling of zen like calm and tranquillity.
Another earthy but bolder green is to be found in the Olive Locker. Add richness and depth and a touch of nature to a room with this classic, sophisticated and timeless colour.
The dark grey smokey colour finish which is to be found on the Slate Locker is perfect for an industrial and home office setting. This is a shade of grey which looks wonderful in a monochrome setting and at the same time sit comfortably with most other colour combinations.
Last but not least is the White Locker which also offers a perfect storage solution for a monochrome interior space whilst also blending in perfectly when introduced to a room with more colourful decor. It definitely offers a classic school locker vibe. This is a creamy as opposed to a bright white and therefore offers a softer, calmer feel to a room setting.
